 We have the opportunity to staff concessions at the Gas South Arena on Sunday, November 10, 2024

Bros, Spouses, Significant Others, and Friends Welcome!

Arrival time is 11:00 AM

The show starts at 1:00PM and we expect to be out by 6:00PM.

We'll grab dinner after (optional)

SO WE CAN GET AN IDEA OF HOW MANY OF YOU ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE EVENT. THE MORE OF THAT CAN  MAKE IT, THE MORE BOOTHS/LOCATIONS WE CAN REQUEST.

THIS TRANSLATES TO MORE MONEY FOR THE LODGE.

While this is work, it will be a lot of fun and great bonding time...while raising funds for our Lodge.

Here is the deal:

Event: Atlanta Gladiators

Time:  Arrive at 11:00AM

We should finish by 6:00PM and will grab dinner together afterwards.

What could we be doing?    We will staff a food/drink kiosk(s)

This gives our group the ability to earn more funds.

General Schedule:

11:00AM - Arrive.  Bring products to our stand. Set-up, Get cash for registers

tbd - Lunch - Provided to us by Gas South Arena? (they usually do something)

tbd - Doors open

1:00PM - show starts

6:00PM (or earlier, Proof of the Pudding will let us know) - We clean up!

What to do if you can participate?

- Just RSVP to this event immediately. We need to know how many bros are willing to participate. Note, if you sign up, you must attend. Otherwise, we get fined...and we don't want to get fined. Spouses welcome.

Logistics

We will start in the Gas South Arena check-in area (level 2 of the parking deck). This is where we sign in and get our shirts for the event. 

Proof of Pudding will supply dinner  We must bring at least 5 people.

Directions

Go down Sugarloaf Parkway and cross over Satellite (heading away from Hwy 85).  You will pass the Kroger on your right.  Take a left at Meadow Church Road.  Take a left onto Paul McCartney Blvd.  Follow Paul McCartney Blvd until you get to the Parking Garage.  Take a left into the parking deck before the lift gate.  Follow it to level 2.  Go in the doors that say Staff Assembly Area.  Our check in area is in that building.

 

Dress Code for the day of event

Black or khaki pants (no jeans), tennis shoes.  Proof of the Pudding will supply a shirt.  If you have an HOD hat....BRING IT. We will try to bring new HOD hats for those that have never worked an event before. If they don't arrive, we can either purchase a Proof of the Pudding hat for $7 (Shimshon will pay for the hat), wear a free hairnet in the stand, or a solid hat with no logo will also suffice.  NO PERSONAL BELONGINGS. No purses, jackets, etc.  We do not have a designated space for them in the stand, so it is a health violation if they are brought up to the stand.  The only thing you need are your keys. The arena has lockers in check-in.  If you would like to use a locker, you should bring your own lock for it.
